Athletes of the Year, 2016!

Special Olympics Burlington would like to congratulate our Male and Female athletes of the year, Aiden Lee and Steffani Tobin!

Stefanni and Aiden with their awards! This year, Aiden participated in Martial Gymnastics, basketball and swimming and at the Spring Games last month, he brought home 3 golds and a bronze in Swimming. Aiden also participates in our fundraising events, enjoying greeting customers at Staples. With his family, he has also created calendars for two years, using his artwork as a way to support Special Olympics Burlington.

Steffani was a member of the silver medal floor hockey team at the Provincial Games last year. This year she is a member of the floor hockey team, the basketball teams and the soccer team.

Steffani has also supported fundraising activities at Staples and learned how to bag and help with cash.

Both these athletes are deserving of this award and their coaches are proud of their athletic growth, their hard work and their dedication to attending practices and trying their best.

Congratulations both of you!
